How to resolve connection and workflow problems
Fix sign-in, subscription, permissions, stale tasks, missing reports and provider connection issues.
Start with setup_status. Check the website and next required step before repeating an action. Use the returned error and dashboard link; do not invent a successful result.
The AI only reads the documentation
Reading a page does not install tools. Add the MCP connection in your AI client, install or enable it and select it in the conversation. Ask explicitly to use Akkrev. If your organisation restricts custom connections, contact its administrator or use the dashboard.
Sign-in is required or access was revoked
A sign-in error means the connection cannot access a workspace. Start connection again from your AI client, sign in to Akkrev and review the account and permissions. A removed connection must be authorised again. Never share an emailed sign-in link, token or cookie in chat.
An active subscription is required
If setup_status returns subscription, or a private tool returns subscription_required, open Akkrev → Settings → Billing. Review or resume the plan, or complete checkout and email verification for a new account. An installed connector, saved signup or expired trial does not grant private tool access. Ask for setup_status again after the account is active.
The website does not match
Stop. Connect the account for the requested website and check it again. Do not silently operate on a different account or alter its website to make the request fit.
The AI can read but cannot save
Check whether you granted Prepare permission. Review the connection permissions in Akkrev and reconnect with the intended access if needed. An active plan is also required. If a feature is unavailable, follow the returned dashboard step; repeated requests will not enable it or upgrade the plan.
Your AI client may also ask you to approve an action before it can run. Approve the specific change you reviewed in that client, or make it in Akkrev. An Akkrev permission does not override your AI client’s approval rules.
The profile is incomplete
Ask the AI to read account_get, gather missing factual details and show every profile field before setup_profile. Use the verified account email. Confirm the location, country and venue type carefully because these affect future tracked questions. Recheck the website if the profile changed during the conversation.
No report or an incomplete report
Your first report may still be collecting. Read results_get for its status and available weeks. Partial reports can contain useful answers; inspect their question snapshots and evidence. An eligible failed or partial report from the current week can be retried once with report_retry. Otherwise, follow the returned next step and wait for scheduled collection. Do not interpret missing samples as zero visibility.
A task changed or the save result is uncertain
Reload workspace_get and use the current task revision. Recheck the saved draft, facts or proposal before repeating a write. A lost response can still mean a save succeeded. Do not repeat signup submissions after an uncertain response. If a site-write result needs checking, use the task’s Akkrev approval screen before preparing another proposal.
Facts are missing or a proposal will not prepare
Read the task’s required fact and all current saved facts. Confirm the correct value and a public source with the person. facts_save replaces the full set, so retain every unchanged fact and source. Prepare wording first; then prepare a supported WordPress proposal with the owned connection ID and matching editable page. Unsupported changes belong in your website editor or with your site manager.
Google or WordPress is not connected
Open Akkrev → Connections and authorise the correct provider and website yourself. Your AI can read the connection status and explain the next step. Google property selection must match the connected account and website. A fresh report may be served from the existing cache. A WordPress title/facts proposal also requires an eligible plan and remaining allowance.
A limit or another update blocks the action
Honour the returned limit or retry instruction. Remove an unneeded tracked question before adding another if your plan is full. Wait before retrying an in-progress update. Avoid frequent polling and repeated scans; queued work continues in Akkrev. Review an upgrade in Billing if you need a larger plan.
A change is saved but not verified
Check whether it is a draft, proposal, applied update or queued public check. Preparing a proposal does not publish it. Record a manual update only after it was actually made. Read the public-check result; do not report improved rankings just because the page check passes.
Ask for help safely
Use Akkrev’s support or book a call. Share the tool name, a brief description and the visible error. Remove contact details, private content and credentials from screenshots or copied output. Avoid including passwords, tokens, card details or sign-in links. See the tool reference and billing and permissions.
