How does AI recommend restaurants?

The answer depends on what the diner asks: cuisine, area, price, occasion or dietary needs. With search enabled, an assistant can use restaurant websites, listings, booking pages, reviews and food guides. The sources and recommendations vary. There is no fixed recipe that guarantees your restaurant will be selected.

Does AI really change where people eat?

Yes. In a March 2026 survey of 3,001 US consumers for DoorDash, 22% said they had used an AI tool to help choose a restaurant. DoorDash published the results in May.

AI says we're closed on Mondays, but we're not. Can you fix it?
