> How independent cinemas, theatres, comedy clubs and live music venues get named when people ask ChatGPT or Google AI what's on and where to go.

Theatres, cinemas and live music venues get recommended by AI when their listings are readable and current, and when they are described for the kind of night people ask about. AI can't recommend a show it can't see, so up-to-date programme pages matter most.

People ask AI what's on and where to go: shows, gigs, independent cinemas, comedy nights.

## What people ask AI

- "Independent cinema in Bristol?"
- "Comedy club in Edinburgh outside the Fringe?"
- "Small live music venue in Nashville?"
- "What's on in Manchester this weekend?"

## Where AI gets its answers

- **Listings sites.** Event and ticket platforms.
- **Local press.** What's on guides.
- **Google Maps.** Venue details.
- **Your website.** Programmes, prices and access.

## What decides who gets named

- **A programme page in text** with dates.
- **Ticket prices and booking** clear.
- **Access information**.
- **Local what's on coverage**.

## How to check

Ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok the questions above for your area and note who they name and which sites they cite. Our [plans](https://akkrev.com/pricing/) track it for you every week, from £49 a month.

## Questions

### Does AI read event listings?

Yes, in text. Posters and images alone are hard for it.

### Do ticket platforms help?

They're common sources. Keep your own page the clearest.
