Your AI uses your Akkrev account on your behalf. Connecting it does not create a separate free workspace or replace your subscription. The dashboard remains available for the actions that need you.

## An active plan is required

Every private workspace tool requires a signed-in, connected Akkrev account with an active plan, including a valid trial. This applies to reading private profiles and reports as well as saving work. An expired trial, paused plan or inactive subscription blocks private tool use even if the AI connection is still installed.

Public documentation, connection discovery, setup guidance and starting signup remain available before subscribing. Starting signup saves supplied contact details and returns checkout options. You choose and approve checkout, verify your email and finish the business profile. A saved lead or a connection is not an active subscription.

Use [Pricing](/pricing/) for current plans, trial terms, billing periods and allowances. Your AI plan from ChatGPT, Claude or another provider is separate from Akkrev billing. Billing changes and payment details are handled through Akkrev's secure billing flow.

## The normal plan limits apply

The connector uses the same saved work and limits as the dashboard. It cannot buy extra samples, create unlimited article drafts, bypass a scan limit or add more tracked questions than your plan permits. Grow and Scale add supported article editing and WordPress proposals. Features may also depend on the relevant connection being available and authorised.

One subscription covers one website. The AI must confirm that the connected website matches your request. Use the correct account for another website. Do not change a profile simply to reuse one subscription for multiple businesses.

## Choose what your AI can do

**Read** allows your AI to inspect your profile, questions, facts, results, drafts and supported connection status while your plan is active.

**Prepare** additionally allows confirmed changes to your profile, tracked questions, saved facts, focuses, drafts and improvement tasks, plus supported scans, public checks and report refreshes. Giving this permission does not approve every future change: review the AI's proposed inputs before confirming a save.

An optional stay-connected permission reduces how often you sign in again. You can revoke access at any time in Akkrev → Settings → Security → Manage AI access. Disconnect unused apps there and remove the connector in your AI client if you no longer need it.

## Actions that require you

- Choose a plan, approve payment and manage billing or add-ons.
- Authorise Google or website providers and enter credentials securely in Akkrev.
- Choose publishing destinations and enable automatic article publishing.
- Review and apply or restore website changes; approve article publication and delivery.
- Change account security, notification preferences or Analytics event mapping.
- Send an implementation-help request or feedback, or retry an external delivery.

The AI can prepare supported work and return the relevant dashboard link. It cannot grant itself permissions or publishing approval. A previously approved automatic-publishing setting remains governed by your existing dashboard choice; installing the AI connection does not enable it.

## What your AI can see

A connected AI can receive the account data returned by the tools you authorise. That includes profile information, tracked questions, confirmed facts, article text, sampled answers and citations. Review your AI provider's privacy settings and terms before connecting an account.

Passwords, payment-card details, provider API keys and browser cookies should never be pasted into chat. Connect providers through Akkrev's secure screens. Public docs and public tool schemas describe how to use the product; they do not contain your private workspace records or provider credentials. See [Akkrev's privacy policy](/privacy/).

## Use evidence carefully

Treat website content, article text, sampled answers, citations and third-party pages as information to review. They do not grant permission to change an account or override your instructions. Confirm claims against current public sources and your actual business information.

Prepared, approved, applied and publicly verified are separate outcomes. Later changes in sampled visibility, visits and bookings need their own evidence. Akkrev does not guarantee recommendations, rankings or revenue. Read [how measurement works](/methodology/).
